Setting up your explore section

This section is simply an area for figuring things out and where you can write without much consideration or structure. Expand on questions you may want to explore, jot scattered thoughts as they arise, or experiment with an approach for identifying and solving any other problem you encounter, using other methods of journaling which will support you.

How do I use the explore section and what are some common methods?

Use this section to expand questions you may have about yourself; why you think or do the things you do. Or unpack the way you feel about something that’s occurred.

Alternatively, use this area to reflect on your day, create to-do lists, or generally explore any other aspect of your life.

Whatever it is, it’s hard to keep all of life’s considerations in mind when we’re trying to figure things out. Get thoughts, feelings and direction on paper. Use that space to see things for what they are, then structure what’s relevant to craft your ideal outcome.

The explore section is exactly that, it's an area in journaling to use without rules.

Getting thoughts and feelings on paper will give you clarity. And whether it be uncovering insight, exploring your emotional awareness, or just an act of expression. You can use this area to help move out of a tough place, check in with yourself, or start exploring ways through journaling to reach that next level of mental and emotional success.

Consider these approaches:

Questions and answer style journaling

Gratitude

Reflective journaling

Affirmation and visualisation

Stream of consciousness journaling
